WaferNet’s WMP is an independent, web-based inventory management system that is implemented through WaferNet’s extranet. It facilitates the onsite storage of materials for purchase at our customers’ locations on a consignment basis. The WMP is designed to the customers’ specifications including details such as inventory levels and usage, and can be easily modified as their processes and needs evolve. The product materials are barcoded for easy identification. From check-out to check-in, every segment of the supply chain is monitored and tracked through the WMP, providing WaferNet clients with valuable real-time data and reporting to maximize the efficiency of their operations and reduce costs.
Clients are equipped by WaferNet with the necessary WMP system setup software and hardware tools. This includes a computer terminal, LCD touch screen or iPad, scanners, bar code labeling materials, training and IT support.
WaferNet products are delivered and stocked in the customers’ storage facilities. Inventory is checked out for purchase by the designated personnel from the customers’ own warehouse. Upon scanning, the transaction details are depicted and followed by an email notification in addition to real time updates of inventory and other budget data.
